PG or Rent! Which is cheapest in Bengaluru?

Well, if you are shifting to Bengaluru for job, study & long term stay and if you are single person then staying in PG will be a better choice. In Bengaluru PG's can be found in every streets, moreover the traffic of Bengaluru is so much that you have to stay near by where you are working or studying. In PG you will get the top facilities which you won't get in rents and other stays. There are different kinds of staying styles like single room, double sharing, triple sharing, quad sharing. In common PG's providing 3 times food with TV, WiFi, washing machine and in some PG there is cooking facility also. In main Bengaluru city PG starts from Rs 2000 to Rs 15000.

I am here in Bengaluru since last 8 months and I am staying in a PG costs Rs 7500 which providing me 3 times food, TV, washing machine, cooking facility. In this high traffic area you should stay near where you work or study so PG will be available but finding a good rent there is a bit tough.
So below are some pros & cons of PG comparing to rent;-
Pros -

1. No maintenance need to be done from your own side
2. No electricity bill
3. No tension of cooking
4. No deposits, only Rs 1000 - Rs 2000 
5. No extra charge for WiFi and much more

Cons - 

1. Have to adjust with room mates
2. Will not get food of your own choice 
3. Family & friends cannot enter and stay & a few things more

But from my side I will suggest to stay in PG if you are single person or you can go for rent if you have more than 2 people it will be beneficial.
